How we arrived in Ajijic, Mexico.

While cruising the Bahamas on our sailboat "Pipe Dream" in the Spring of 2007 we were anchored next to Lee and Charly on "Windstar4". Over a few rums we talked about our trip to Mexico and found out that Lee and Charly had recently bought a house in Ajijic, Jalisco. On our Mexican trip we had skipped Ajijic. After reading about the Ajijic's large expat community,  we felt it would probably be as disappointing as San Miguel de Allende. Lee and Charly convinced us to visit them in the summer. We took them up on their offer, fell in love with the place, rented a house for a while and ended up buying a place in September of 2008.
